Every year on Good Friday, a collection is taken up in Catholic Churches to support the work of the Franciscans working in the Holy Land. Christians there rely heavily on the help that comes to them from this worldwide collection.
The Franciscans of the Custody of the Holy Land have the unique responsibility to care for the Holy Places as well for the “Living Stones,” the Christians living there. It is vital that we support Christians living in the Holy Land, in order to maintain a Christian presence in the very land made holy by the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus.
It is thanks to you, who give so generously, that we will be able to continue taking care of the Holy Places of Christianity.

Cada año, el Viernes Santo, se realiza una colecta en las Iglesias Católicas para apoyar el trabajo de los franciscanos que trabajan en Tierra Santa. Los Cristianos allí dependen en gran medida de la ayuda que les llega de esta colecta mundial.
Los Franciscanos de la Custodia de Tierra Santa tienen la responsabilidad única de cuidar los Lugares Santos así como las “Piedras Vivas”, los Cristianos que viven allí. Es vital que apoyemos a los Cristianos que viven en Tierra Santa, para mantener una presencia Cristiana en la misma tierra santificada por la vida, muerte y resurrección de Jesús.
Es gracias a ustedes, que dan con tanta generosidad, que podremos seguir cuidando los Lugares Santos de la Cristiandad.
