Q & A's

Small groups are becoming the heart of our adult faith formation. They are just what they sound like, a small group of people gathering together to dig into Scripture, apply the teachings of Christ to their lives, and to draw closer to the Lord. Small groups provides a place to explore and be supported as you live out your faith. These groups are a transformative experience for those involved. A place where you can draw closer to Jesus through learning and relationships.

Our small groups reflect on the Sunday Readings the week before hearing them proclaimed at Mass.  They use a resource that gives them background information on the readings and questions to help reflect on how God is speaking to them through the scriptures.  During the seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Lent, our parish produces it's own resources which matches the homilies given by our priests.  These parish made resources and other online resources are available on our parish website under the "weeklies" page.

We offer small groups year round, so no matter the time of year we have options for joining a group.  Register online or by contacting the parish office.  We will follow up by contacting you about our current group options.  If you'd like to start a group, please use the online registration and let us know in the notes section.

Why Small Groups?

Christians since Pentecost (the beginning of the Church) have been meeting in small groups to pray and support one another.  Small groups offer the opportunity to enliven the gifts of the sacraments in order to more boldly proclaim Jesus in the world through our life.  They also offer the opportunity to grow together as a community.  Community is such an important aspect of parish life and Christ's ministry.
