The offertory collection is by far our largest and most regular source of income. Thus, a robust offertory is essential for keeping our parish strong and enabling us to do the work God has in store for us. Moreover, our offertory collection should grow every year, to make up for inflation and to reflect the growth of of our parish. July was a great start for the offertory of our new fiscal year, and October was also excellent! In fact, for three out of the first four months of FY 2019, our offertory collections were higher than those of the same month of FY 2018. Thanks to everyone who contributes.
Let's continue to strive to make our offertory gifts both consistent and generous. To that end, if you haven't done so already, consider signing up for automated offertory contributions, either via the parish website or through the parish office. And did you know that now you can pick up from the kiosk an orange "I give electronically" slip to drop in the offertory basket? The slip is then included in the basket of offertory gifts that the ushers bring to the altar.
