What are the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Mass Times?

How should I prepare for Christmas Mass?

  • Before coming, read the scriptures (click here to access the scriptures).
  • Pray for God to help you be ready to receive Christ in your heart anew.
  • Be nice - While Christmas is a time of joy and hope, stress due to a number of factors can lead us to feel a little grumpy at times.  Let's offer this stress up to God and allow JOY, HOPE, and LOVE to radiate from our attitude and actions.
  • Come a little early to Mass and spend time in prayer in the church or the adoration chapel (where the Blessed Sacrament is in reserve).
  • Know that God loves you and wants to be at the center of your life.

Where can I park?

We have two parking lots, one next to the church west of Maple Ave on 13th Street. The other is east of Maple Ave. on the south side of 13th Street.  There is also street parking down 13th Street, Maple Ave, and 12th Street.  We encourage those who are able to park further away and walk the distance to do so as there will be many who are coming with elderly people and young children who would appreciate being closer to the church.

How early do we need to arrive?

Arriving about a half hour early is ideal for any of our Masses in order to give you time to park, walk into the church, and ready yourself to celebrate the Mass.  Our 5:00 pm Mass is typically our most crowded Mass, so you may want to arrive a little earlier.

What happens if there are no seats left?

Ushers may be able to add chairs to the back row, so please see an usher with a nametag to ask about seating.  You are also welcome to sit in the gathering space where a TV is live streaming the Mass.  We typically have enough space for everyone to sit in the main church.

Is childcare offered?

No, in past years we've found that families preferred to have their children in Mass with them at this extra special celebration.  Children are always welcome at Mass.  At other times we typically offer childcare through our Ark ministry in the lower level at the 10:30 and 12:30 Sunday Masses.
