. Feeling Called to the Priesthood? |
Fr. Bill VanderWerff (who served an internship at St. Francis and will be serving as our Associate Pastor starting late June) and Deacon Jegar Fickel (long time parishioner), celebrated with four other men their call to ordained life June 6, 2015. They accepted the call of God and offer themselves to the service of Christ in the Church as ordained ministers in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Bishop Walkowiak ordained Deacon Jegar and 3 other men as transitional deacons and Fr. Bill and one other to the priesthood.
