As of July 1, 2024, we have entered the new fiscal year (2025) with a balanced budget planned for the coming year. Reflecting on the past fiscal year (2024), we ended the year with a deficit for the second consecutive year. While expenses have been down especially through responsible use of resources, there has not been enough income to meet our needs. However, thanks to the prudence and savings of previous years, we have managed to navigate these financial challenges while at the same time recognizing that reliance on our savings is not a sustainable path forward.
In our efforts to maintain fiscal responsibility, we have made several tough decisions. We chose not to replace staff who have left, including our Coordinator of Discipleship and an administrative assistant. Additionally, we decided against offering pay increases to our current staff and have lowered the maximum subsidy to staff health insurance. These measures, though difficult, are necessary to keep our deficit down and balance our budget.
Amid these challenges, we remain deeply grateful for the continued generosity of our parishioners. Your financial contributions and volunteer efforts are vital in supporting our ministries and mission. In this time of limited parish staff, it is even more important for parishioners to take on volunteer leadership in parish ministries. Your commitment allows us to continue growing passionate disciples of Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Our parish community is working diligently and prayerfully to fulfill our mission. Together, we will continue to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us, ensuring that we can sustain our ministries and grow in our faith. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. Together, we will face these challenges with faith and determination, knowing that our mission is rooted in the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

¡A partir del 1 de julio de 2024, hemos entrado en el nuevo año fiscal (2025) con un presupuesto equilibrado planificado para el próximo año. Reflexionando sobre el año fiscal pasado (2024), terminamos el año con un déficit por segundo año consecutivo. Aunque los gastos han disminuido, especialmente mediante el uso responsable de los recursos, no ha habido suficientes ingresos para satisfacer nuestras necesidades. Sin embargo, gracias a la prudencia y ahorros de años anteriores, hemos logrado superar estos desafíos financieros, al mismo tiempo que reconocemos que depender de nuestros ahorros no es un camino sostenible hacia el futuro.
En nuestros esfuerzos por mantener la responsabilidad fiscal, hemos tomado varias decisiones difíciles. Decidimos no reemplazar al personal que se ha ido, incluyendo a nuestro Coordinador de Discipulado y un asistente administrativo. Además, decidimos no ofrecer aumentos salariales a nuestro personal actual y hemos reducido el subsidio máximo al seguro de salud del personal. Estas medidas, aunque difíciles, son necesarias para mantener nuestro déficit bajo y equilibrar nuestro presupuesto.
En medio de estos desafíos, seguimos profundamente agradecidos por la continua generosidad de nuestros feligreses. Sus contribuciones financieras y esfuerzos de voluntariado son vitales para apoyar nuestros ministerios y misión. En este tiempo de personal parroquial limitado, es aún más importante que los feligreses asuman el liderazgo voluntario en los ministerios parroquiales. Su compromiso nos permite seguir cultivando discípulos apasionados de Jesucristo, guiados por el Espíritu Santo.
Nuestra comunidad parroquial está trabajando diligente para cumplir nuestra misión. Juntos, continuaremos confiando en el Espíritu Santo para guiarnos, asegurando que podamos mantener nuestros ministerios y crecer en nuestra fe. Gracias por su inquebrantable apoyo y dedicación.
