As part of a great, fun, and prayerful evening, parish families came together on December 4, 2019, for the parish's annual Advent Family Night. Each elementary family made an Advent wreath with live evergreens to use at home this season, while the Edge Night Middle Schoolers enjoyed time together as they prayed and talked about Advent. The Advent Family Night talked about preparing our hearts for Jesus and the growing light of the Advent wreath throughout this season of preparation. Families closed the evening with prayer after listening to and meditating on the words of the prophet Isaiah "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light." May we all work to more closely follow the great light of Christ.
