The Word of God has the power to change us.
For a few minutes each week we get to share the life changing message the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This coming Advent we are planning a “Message Series” called “Mercy: God's Greatest Gift” that will tie together the Sunday readings and the beginning of the Year of Mercy. A message series is about exploring a single theme over the course of multiple weekends. We will be reflecting on the theme of God’s Mercy as it is found in our Sunday readings. This Series will guide our journey to Christmas.
Our priests and deacon will be using a common guide in preparing their unique homilies so that we will find a unified message across our weekend Masses. Our bulletin, website, and Facebook page will include reflection questions for adults, families, youth and resources to help our parish take the message home. Our parish small groups will also be using a more detailed set of questions focused on the Series.
Our Series is an exciting opportunity for us as a parish. It will be a way for our big parish to reflect on one message helping us to share in this journey of Advent together. We invite you to encounter Mercy every week of this Advent.

Por unos pocos minutos cada semana compartimos el mensaje que transforma nuestras vidas del Evangelio de Jesucristo. Este Adviento estamos planeando una “Serie Mensaje” llamada “La Misericordia: el Regalo más Grande de Dios” que ligará las lecturas del domingo y el comienzo del Año de la Misericordia. Una serie mensaje es acerca de explorar un solo tema sobre el transcurso de varios fines de semana. Estaremos reflexionando sobre el tema de la Misericordia de Dios de acuerdo a como se encuentra en las lecturas dominicales. Esta Serie guiará nuestra jornada de fe hasta la Navidad.
Nuestros sacerdotes y nuestro diacono usarán una guía común al preparar sus homilías para que nosotros encuéntrenos un mensaje unificado a través de nuestras misas de fin de semana. Nuestro boletín, nuestro sitio web, y nuestra página de Facebook incluirán preguntas de reflexión para los adultos, las familias, los jóvenes y tendrán también recursos para ayudar a nuestros feligreses a llevar el mensaje a casa. Los grupos pequeños de nuestra parroquia también usarán un grupo de preguntas más detalladas que se enfoquen en la Serie.
Nuestra Serie es una oportunidad emocionante para nosotros como parroquia. Será una manera para que nuestra parroquia reflexione en un mensaje, ayudándonos a compartir juntos en esta jornada de Adviento. Le invitamos a encontrar la Misericordia cada semana de este Adviento.
