Pope Francis is talking a lot about the environment and our responsibility.  Do you know what he's saying?  Have you only seen or heard what news agencies are saying?  Well we have an opportunity for you to learn what Pope Francis is really saying and how it challenges each and everyone of us.

Thursday, August 6, 2015, Tom Eggleston, our pastoral associate, lead a class on the topic of Pope Francis' most recent encyclical "Laudato Si" or "On Care for Our Common Home."   He gave a good summary of the content of the document, discussed its importance, and took questions.

You are encouraged to read the pope's documen, Laudato Si, online - http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/encyclicals/documents/papa-fra....  Below is also a comentary from Fr. Robert Barron on the document.  Other resources can be found at www.usccb.org.
